A safe ride towards healing.For Corrie’s House – a long-term residential home supporting youth who have survived sex trafficking – one urgent need rose to the top: access to a safe, reliable vehicle. Without it, teens couldn’t consistently get to school, medical appointments, therapy, or the everyday activities that help heal and rebuild their lives. Corrie’s House, United Way of Washington County-East, saw the urgency and acted quickly – they connected with Cornerstone Auto sharing a belief that every young person deserves stability and support. The donation of this vehicle became so much more than transportation. It became freedom, dignity, opportunity, and a story of hope. We are proud to have donated $500 dollars towards the program this year!We are pleased to launch the test-drive fundraiser component to this year’s program. This helped raise additional funds for the Stillwater Girls Youth Hockey league, while giving our local youth athletes more opportunities. |

Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater is happy to announce that Patrick White is this year’s lucky Stillwater Area High School Graduate to win the $5,000 prize!Since 1980, Stillwater Motors, now Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater, has been involved with the Senior Party and one of its founding members. Patrick was glad his father encouraged him and his twin brother to go to the Senior Class Party! Patrick is a member of the Honor Society, lettered in Ultimate Frisbee, and has already completed a full year of college by taking PSEO classes at Century College. He will complete one more year of generals at Century College and then transfer to either the University of Minnesota to pursue Dermatology or UW-Madison to pursue Electrical Engineering. His favorite times are those spent outdoors in nature – he loves fishing! Some fun facts about Patrick are that he is a 5th generation Stillwater resident, and his father still remembers the winner at his SAHS Senior Party won an actual car! His father bought a 1995 BuickCentury that Patrick happily drives around town, and to work at Perkins! We are proud to have Patrick as this year’s winner and wish him and his family the best! |

Here are a few parking details for when you come visit us between January 18th – 22nd:

2. Shuttle Buses: Bus shuttles will run Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Parking will be at Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater. Riders will be dropped off at Mulberry Point on the north side of Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater. The shuttle will pick up riders from Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater starting at 4:30 pm on Friday, 10 am on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday. Stillwater Motors and Mike Knutson had the privilege and honor to welcome home our soldiers and Airmen of the 148th Fighter Wing on Sunday, October 16th to the 27th Annual Pheasant Hunt and Sporting Clays Event in Hugo, MN. A great time was had by all and most importantly a special thanks again for all the troops and their families for serving!
Stillwater Motors and Chevrolet First Responder Appreciation Test Drive Program for 2022 are happy to announce that the Washington County Sheriff’s Explorer program has been selected to be the recipient this year! The Explorer program is paid for by the students, so we are so happy to be able to contribute to help them pay for this beneficial training for themselves!
“The Washington County Explorers is a hands-on, career-oriented program that gives young adults the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement or a related criminal justice field. Exploring is open to youth ages 14 to 20 who have completed 8th grade. Explorers meet weekly with Sheriff’s Deputies to learn about various situations and training scenarios while developing life skills in public speaking, self confidence, leadership, and team building. Scholarship money is earned at competitions and is available to our Explorers to continue on their education path.”

Jayden grew up in Stillwater and had an awesome experience at Stillwater Area High School; he enjoyed his classes and was very involved in a variety of activities such as Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Baseball and Football! He loves sports and has played football since he was in the 4th grade which led to him becoming Captain of the Football team at SAHS! He will attend St. John’s University in the Fall to pursue a degree in Economics/Business and will play football for the Johnnies!
Jayden enjoys fishing and bowling, too. His summer job will be as a PCA to a young man that he met and developed a friendship with on the high school football field! We wish him all the happiness and success in his future pursuits.

Jonah was completely surprised when his name was picked for the $5000 Car Certificate at the Stillwater Area High School Senior overnight party, this will be Jonah’s first car purchase!!
Jonah was busy during his high school career with these activities: He was involved in BPA, Business Professionals of America and competed at state, he was in the National Honor Society, he was named Academic All-State in tennis, and in addition to playing hockey, he also refed it for 3 years! Jonah is currently working for Andersen Windows. His future plans are to attend the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management.
We wish Jonah the best for his future and look forward to helping him purchase his first automobile!
The Senior Class Party began in 1980, and we have participated in it every year. We look forward to continuing the tradition for many years to come.
